Participation
City Move Interdesign gathers 40 professionals from 17 different countries. Icsid Interdesign Workshops were created to provide professional development opportunities to professional designers. Indeed, the best way for designers and many other professions to get further training or exposure to research is to take part in a working project that is different from daily work.
The participants in City Move Interdesign will take design into new fields and hopefully become a specialist in this new area.
Participation in City Move Interdesign is voluntary and participants will not receive any form of payment for taking part in the Interdesign Workshop.
In order to participate in City Move Interdesign, a formal application was required. The application period opened April 15 and closed July 31, 2008.
SVID recieved 200 applications and after a difficult selection process 40 persons were chosen to participate in the workshop. Focus during the process were to match the applicants different skills, nationalities and competences into a dynamic group.
