SVID acts as a consultant in the establishment of competitions and scholarships.

Design S, Swedish Design Award
The Advertising Association of Sweden, the Swedish Industrial Design Foundation and Svensk Form (the Swedish Society of Crafts and Design) have jointly created Swedish Design Award to reward Sweden's best design solutions with a "Design S". Creative products and services in all areas are welcome.

Teknikföretagens Stora Designpris - The Association of Swedish Engineering Industries' Grand Award of Design 
The Association of Swedish Engineering Industries' Grand Award of Design is arranged in conjunction with SVID and Svensk Form.
The aim of the prize is to stimulate enterprise and profitability through the use of design. The prize is SEK 250,000, half of which is to be donated to a research project in the field of design.

IDEA, Industrial Design Excellence Award
An international competition honoring design excellence in products, interactive media, packaging, strategy, research and concepts. Entries are invited from designers, students and companies worldwide.
