Januari 29, 2009: Open Space meeting in Gellivare
As a part of City Move Interdesign, SVID and Gellivare Municipality invites all companies and contractors in Gellivare to an Open Space meeting on Januari 29 2009.
Open Space is a form of meeting that enables groups of any size to address complex, important issues and achieve meaningful results quickly. It functions best where more traditional meeting formats fail: in situations involving conflict, complexity, diversity of thought or people, and short decision-times. Practitioners have subsequently used it for purposes as various as peacemaking in the Middle East, corporate strategic planning, community-project design, and many others.
Open Space meetings have a single facilitator who initiates and concludes the meeting and explains the general method. The facilitator has no other role in the meeting and does not control the actual gathering in any way.
The meeting will be held in Swedish.
