How can sustainability aspects be incorporated into the design process? The theories, methods and tools presented here can be effective in different phases of a development process.

It should be noted that none of the theories, methods and tools are fully comprehensive and the relevance of each of them depends on when in the design process they are used. The most sustainable way of moving forward is to use design in close collaboration with various areas of expertise.
